Dr. Barbara Bonner, PhD
Dr. Bonner is the Director of the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect
(CCAN), and is the Associate Director of the Child Study Center (CSC).
Her clinical research interests include the assessment and treatment of
abused children, treatment outcome and program effectiveness,
prevention of child fatalities, and treatment of children and
adolescents with inappropriate or illegal sexual behavior. The bench presented in honor of Dr. Bonner is displayed at Center for Child Abuse & Neglect (CCAN) at OU Health Science Center.

Judge Gene Mowery
Judge Mowery has been an advocate for children and served on the bench
for many years. He was personally involved in the successful adoption
of 3 siblings who received treatment from Choices for Life. The benches presented in honor of Judge Mowery are displayed at McIntosh Courthouse in Eufaula and at Masonic Lodge in Checotah.

Cindy Morrison
Cindy is an award winning journalist from News Channel 8. Cindy is the
spokesperson for ‘Safe Kids” and is an active volunteer in many
philanthropic organizations in Green Country. She is also on the Board
of Directors for the Crime Commission, the Schusterman Center
(OU/Tulsa) and the center for the Physically Limited. The bench presented in honor of Ms Morrison is displayed at Lone Star School at 3945 S. Hickory.

Mike Doudican
Mike is the Family Pastor of First Baptist Church of Sapulpa. He is very active in supporting family programs and events throughout the community. Mike has provided the agency with meeting space for the monthly groups, meetings and training for our Treatment Parents and children. The bench presented in honor of Mr Doudican is displayed at First Baptist Church of Sapulpa at 200 S. Elm.

John Fretti | Valdosta Mayor
Valdosta Mayor, John Fretti, is awarded for his undying commitment to children and children's issues in our city. He always proclaims April as child abuse prevention month in Valdosta and allows us to place displays throughout the city that make people aware of abuse and how to report it. He is also an avid supporter of our Children's Advocacy Center, which offer free counseling to children who have been sexually and physcially abused as well as forensic interviews.
